Today I saw the new version of Mile Sur mera tumhara. the song based on Indian Integrity and the whole concept of “Unity in Diversity”, But really dissapointed to see the new version just focussing on Bollywood, Mumbai,Filmstars.

The new composition is a mess. Its a total bloody mess.The song does not focuss on the main important aspects of our countries progress, culture, tradition, religions.Where are all the great personlaities of our nation? the greatest monuments of our country,the resources,the culture.I could highlight the following weaknesses in the composition.

1.I am being a little partial in saying this first .being a Goan by origin .There is No Goa Shown.There is no Kashmir, No Assam, No Kerala.

2.No taj mahal the only world acclaimed wonder of our country

3.No lata mangueshkar

4.No mention of chandrayaan.One of our bigger scientific achievements of the decade!

5.Very poor deepika and ranbir.Deepika wearing a fancy sleeveless dress and dancing in water on hills, Is this the actual Indian culture? and after all no video is complete without the hyped kapoor’s in india.

6.Amir khan shooting a tare zammen par? Sharukh khan acting like knight rider promo add.Salman as usual showing off his Body. Too much of focus on Khan’s.

7.The dance composition of Shiamak Davar and Kuchipudi was done in real bad taste

8.Showcasing Only Mumbai and the highliting the bandra worli sea link. As if this is the only flyover bridge in the world.

9.No hint of Cricket.

These are only some weeknesses. There are lots. Very sorry that we are not progressing but going back to a non developed state of whay back in 1950’s when India first initiated its republic day.The film looked to show a confused india and not a developing India, progressing India. The older video still looked  new and  much tender than the new one.No match betwwen the older and new. That is why we always tend to say

OLD is GOLD

I was left very sad for this years Republic day. the 60th Republic day.

Welcome to my first post of the year. I was unable to post anything due to some technical reason. Sorry for that. But anyways as we say. Bad things happens quickly,Good things takes time to happen and all great things happen all at once.

Last saturday after the office I planned to visit the much awaited a one lakh baby from  TATA. the nano.I gota chance to take a glimpse of it at a nearest showroom to my office.I was eagerly waiting to see it in relality. as what we had been looking was only through envision. Everyone asking me,you buying tata nano? Finally visited and admired the engineering innovation in the automibile history of India. I managed to capture it into photo’s and wish to share with you all

Although i dint get a chance to drive around with it. But still had a seat and feel of the car. The great interiors. Spacious leg space, and smooth gears (that’s without driving). What I  missed most was the look at engine and its firing.It was just a touch and feel. But still a satisfaction at the end of  trip.  So what? When are you making it to nano? go ahead and share your experiences with me!!!

Its time to say Good Bye to the eventful year of 2008.  This would be my last post of the year .  So lets check on the highlights of it.

There are few to countless things what we achieved in 2008. Few we can recall might be the folllowing.

Recessions and World Economy: The year started with a weak growth of economy around the world. The main root  tends to be the real estates and money lenders. It all started with the buyers inability to finish their payments. So Next were the banks and insurers like AIG to suffer. Fuel prices reached the sky. almost to $140+ per barrel.

India achieved a great milestone all appreciation to TATA. Launch of  1 Lakh darling,TATA NANO. a 625 CC car known to peoples car claimed it self to be the world cheapest car. Hats off to Mr. ratan TATA.

The major sector that was affected most were th IT sectors losing around 60K jobs in India and more than that abroad countries. Automobiles giants like GM and FORD plans to close their units. Sales affected in India too.

Sports and Olympics:

This years olympics brought about  a lot of changes with it. yes. This was time India achived in medals tally. Good enough to keep a stand of a country who never made it to olympics before. Abhinavbindra with his glittering gold,  vijendra singh with boxing bronze, wrestler Sushil Kumar won the bronze

Vishwanathan Anand wins world title after vanquishing Vladmir Karmik. Anil Kumble and Saurav Ganguly retired.The monkey Controversy of hrabajan singh and Australian andrew symonds.

Science and technology

First time in the history of India ISRO launched its first unmanned mission to moon called Chandrayaan , launched successfullyon 22^nd October from Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota. .India becomes the 5th nation in the world to join the club of moon landers.

Politics:  The biggest politica dramas. Gujjars protest against vasundara , and violant protest by mamata against TATA for nano plant in singur. But Did those people achieve anything in return or was it just a spark in the fuel?

But BJP got it in Karnataka . That was a huge victory for them, Then came the Gujarat, Modi did it again. Rajhastan Got Congress whereas MP and Chattisgarh too got BJP. Delhi showed their full almighty support towards sheila.

Internationa issue : Barrack Obama wins the US presidenatial elections beating his rival John Mccain. Again a woman culdnt make it to the president status in US. Hillary withdrawing from the race, making way for obama to clean win it.

The Bravery: Thats the most important of all of the above. The Mumbai Terror attacks at Taj, trident , nariman, VT station(CST), leopold cafe. killing around 180 people. and the bravery of the Police, Army, National Security Guard (NSG) commandos who reflexed their brave guts and character to again prove it to our neighbours rivals that we are simply not called Indians and hindustanis. I salute The Brave secutity person of our countries who stand hard in front . when our countries economic city were in threat. Anyone reading this blog if you not gona read this then u r insulting urself and your patriotism.

Yes, He is  great I am speaking of  a great personifying character India has ever got. The place where people worship cricket. People like him makes a point to prove that. I am speaking of none other than the sensational bowler of our time Mr. Anil Kumble.

 Kumble’s announcement of retirement from Indian Cricket was a big jolt to the Indian cricketing Industry !!!

What a cricketer was he. A great googlier and Legbreaker . He was not a great spinner of ball but his unique tricky style bowling was a sharp knife for many.This great man has always given his 100% in whichever game he played.i still remember those days in 1996 world cup that he was the only spinning  hope when India was lacking spinning talent. He was the guy who grew the spinning tradition. His  spell of 10 wickets v/s Pakistan in Delhi in year 1999 would always be a moment to remember. That was a master piece of excellence and accuracy. Whatever it may be, Whether it be the broken jaw v/s west indies or the titan cup finals parternship with Javagal Srinath. He was always there. The only gurranted bowler cum batsman of India. Australia vs India 2007 – Anil Kumble’s 600th Test Wicket

That was a sunday 5th oct 2008, morning.around 11 am. I was on bike (pulsar) gone for a ride as i was feeling bored siting at home. I went to my fathers dispansary just for time pass ,Finding it full of patients i decided to go for a ride in meanwhile. I moved towards carona a near by village to mine.

I then took a turn right on a road that heads towards my home.That area is known as ramtala. I was at 30km/h but the turn ahead made me change the gear, slowed down the vehicle and and i was about to put 2nd, when suddenly i could see a maruti wagon R in front of me,Ohh gosh. Nothing came to my mind than to apply breaks and  turn left.

But my bad luck was on my side, instead of moving to left, the car driver moved to his right giving me no chance to survive and there was a head on dash.(thasshhhh ) I just left the bike as it when the impact happened.I could see my self moving close to death. as i could see all dark in front . That was a big somsault jump. I was thrown in to the bushes at the side of road. I was hurt. Although i dint feel it much first.

Then there was all rush ,people coming running to see whether am dead or survived. The car owner that banged me was a nice person. He made me getup quicky from the bushes.sprikled water on me and tried to relax me. That was family going by that way. A elderly woman who i suppose is the wife of that driver was more tensed than me.What was coming to her mind was different. She kept on asking me baba tu baro aasa mu, chod lagung naa nhi tuka? (meaning are you ok?did it hurt much?).

Now was the time to settle the issue.So the next was to call my parents as the bike was all bend in front, not movable.I called up my mom first and assured her  that I am alright and nothing much is happened to me. She reached the point soon after i called. Then i had to call up my sister as my fathers mobile was not reachable. That was an tensed environment. Everyone passing by that way asking, is the bike rider alive?.

So rest of my family reached there. later police came and the conducted the further proceedings.

But the main reason behind the accident were the bushes on the turn that makes the vehicle rider difficult to spot the vehicles on the turn.Also was the mistake by the car driver moving to right rather than left!!!! I can understand that anyone can  get nervous in that situation. But it all happened. There is no a single person responsible.

It was very nice of that family that they did not say anything to me, neither they shouted at me. Becasue most of the the bike riders are always scolded even if they are not wrong.  But i was on correct side!!!!

I was only thankul to god that i survived such a hard crash. That was really an accident on fly…
